How it works

1. Activate the creature by tapping it, dealing damage to an opponent's creature.
2. The opponent's creature dies due to deathtouch, triggering the second ability granted by Thornbite Staff, untapping your creature.
3. Repeat until all opponents' creatures die.
4. Repeat each time a creature enters the battlefield under an opponent's control.

By outfitting your creature with Fire Whip, you grant it the tap ability to sling damage directly at any target. To turn that ping into a lethal threat, you can enchant that same Fire Whip with Rune of Mortality, ensuring that the damage carries the deadly efficiency of deathtouch. Finally, equipping Thornbite Staff ties the whole engine together: whenever a creature falls to your toxic pings, the Staff's trigger untaps your shooter, ready to repeat the slaughter as often as new targets emerge.
