How it works

1. Put an activated or triggered ability on the stack under your control.
2. Holding priority, cast Vantress Visions by paying 1, targeting the ability.
3. Phyrexian Metamorph and Lucky Clover trigger.
4. Resolve the Lucky Clover trigger, copying Vantress Visions, with the copy targeting Phyrexian Metamorph's trigger.
5. Resolve the copy of Vantress Visions, copying Phyrexian Metamorph's trigger.
6. Resolve the copy of Phyrexian Metamorph's trigger, copying Vantress Visions, with the copy targeting Phyrexian Metamorph's trigger.
7. Repeat from step 5.

This clever loop transforms a single interaction into an engine for infinite magecraft triggers by stacking copy effects upon copy effects. It all begins when you cast Vantress Visions (the Adventure half of Virtue of Knowledge) targeting an ability, which immediately awakens Lucky Clover to duplicate the spell. At the same time, Phyrexian Metamorph enters the battlefield (or triggers via its shapechanging nature) to keep the chain responsive, while Virtue of Knowledge's passive replacement effect quietly doubles up your triggers along the way.
