How it works

1. Activate up to six permanents by tapping them, adding at least 1.
2. Activate Derevi by paying 1, putting it onto the battlefield from the command zone.
3. When Derevi enters the battlefield, it and Preston trigger twice.
4. Resolve both Derevi triggers, untapping up to two permanents.
5. Resolve the first Preston trigger, creating a token copy of Derevi that is a 0/1 Illusion creature token.
6. Put the nontoken Derevi into your graveyard due to the legend rule, and choose to return it to the command zone from your graveyard.
7. When the Derevi token enters the battlefield, it triggers twice, untapping up to two permanents.
8. Resolve the second Preston trigger, creating a token copy of Derevi that is a 0/1 Illusion creature token.
9. Put either Derevi token into your graveyard due to the legend rule.
10. When the Derevi token enters the battlefield, it triggers twice, untapping up to two permanents.
11. Activate up to six permanents by tapping them, adding at least 1.
12. Activate Derevi by paying 1, putting it onto the battlefield from the command zone.
13. Put the remaining Derevi token into your graveyard due to the legend rule.
14. Repeat from step 3.
