How it works

1. Activate Emiel the Blessed by paying 3, blinking Burning-Tree Emissary.
2. When Burning-Tree Emissary enters the battlefield, it triggers twice, adding .

This loop relies on Virtue of Knowledge to act as an effective mana amplifier, doubling the red and green mana generated by Burning-Tree Emissary every time it enters the battlefield. You then channel a portion of that bounty into Emiel the Blessed, whose active ability continuously blinks Burning-Tree Emissary to restart the entire sequence. Because the mana produced exceeds the cost to activate Emiel the Blessed, you are left with an unstoppable engine for infinite enters-the-battlefield triggers and unbounded mana.
