How it works
Activate Altar of Dementia by sacrificing Famished Foragers.
When Famished Foragers dies, Nim Deathmantle triggers, causing you to pay 4 to return Famished Foragers from your graveyard to the battlefield, and attach Nim Deathmantle to it.
When Famished Foragers enters the battlefield, it triggers twice, adding six .
Resolve the Altar of Dementia ability from step 1, causing target player to mill cards equal to Famished Foragers' power.
Repeat.
Once you have infinite mana, you may use Famished Foragers' ability to infinitely rummage.
This clever loop turns the graveyard into a powerful engine by cycling Famished Foragers in and out of play with Nim Deathmantle. Each time the Foragers returns, the static panharmonicon-style doubling effect of Virtue of Knowledge // Vantress Visions makes its enter-the-battlefield trigger fire twice, generating a surplus of red mana that easily pays the four-mana resurrection cost while yielding a net profit. Meanwhile, Altar of Dementia capitalizes on these endless sacrifices to completely mill out your opponents' libraries.
