How it works

1. Activate Extruder by sacrificing Lesser Masticore.
2. When Lesser Masticore dies, its persist ability triggers, returning it from your graveyard to the battlefield with a +1/+1 counter on it due to Curator Beastie.
3. Resolve the Extruder ability, putting a +1/+1 counter on a creature you control.
4. Repeat.

This clever loop relies on Extruder to sacrifice Lesser Masticore over and over, feeding an endless stream of death and sacrifice triggers. Every time Lesser Masticore hits the graveyard, its persist mechanic would normally bring it back with a -1/-1 counter, but Curator Beastie steps in to ensure it enters with extra +1/+1 counters instead—instantly neutralizing the counter cancellation rule and keeping the Masticore safe from permanent death. To keep the cycle going, Extruder doesn't even need to use its own activated ability to supply counters, because Curator Beastie is already padding your creatures with growth while enabling infinite entries and leaves-the-battlefield events.
