How it works

1. Activate Viscera Seer by sacrificing Lesser Masticore.
2. When Lesser Masticore dies, its persist ability triggers, returning it from your graveyard to the battlefield with a +1/+1 counter on it due to Curator Beastie.
3. Resolve the Viscera Seer ability, causing you to scry 1.
4. Repeat.

This clever little loop turns the humble mechanical interaction between Lesser Masticore and its persist ability into an engine of endless sacrifices, fueled right out of the gate by the passive buff of Curator Beastie. Because Curator Beastie ensures colorless creatures enter with two extra +1/+1 counters, the returning Masticore instantly neutralizes its own -1/+1 counter penalty, allowing you to feed it indefinitely to Viscera Seer. With the Seer letting you scry 1 on every single iteration, you can comfortably dig through your entire deck while generating an endless stream of creature sacrifices, leaves-the-battlefield, enters-the-battlefield, and death triggers.
