How it works

1. Activate Bloodflow Connoisseur by sacrificing Lesser Masticore.
2. When Lesser Masticore dies, its persist ability triggers, returning it from your graveyard to the battlefield with a +1/+1 counter on it due to Curator Beastie.
3. Resolve the Bloodflow Connoisseur ability, putting a +1/+1 counter on it.
4. Repeat.

This clever loop relies on the constant recycling of Lesser Masticore, which uses its persist ability to return from the graveyard whenever it dies. Normally, the -1/-1 counter it enters with would eventually shut this down, but Curator Beastie provides a brilliant static boost—because Lesser Masticore is a colorless creature, it enters with two additional +1/+1 counters that immediately cancel out the persist penalty. This lets you feed the Masticore to Bloodflow Connoisseur over and over again, generating an endless stream of sacrifices, enters-the-battlefield triggers, and a massively growing connoisseur.
