How it works

1. Activate Megatog by sacrificing Lesser Masticore.
2. When Lesser Masticore dies, its persist ability triggers, returning it from your graveyard to the battlefield with a -1/-1 counter on it.
3. When Lesser Masticore enters, Mm'menon triggers, putting a +1/+1 counter on Lesser Masticore.
4. Resolve the Megatog ability.
5. Repeat.

This clever loop uses Megatog as a sacrifice outlet to feed on Lesser Masticore over and over, turning each iteration into a growing threat with trample. Every time Lesser Masticore hits the graveyard, its persist mechanic brings it right back with a -1/-1 counter, but that drawback is immediately neutralized by Mm'menon, Uthros Exile, whose ability slaps a +1/+1 counter onto the Masticore the moment it re-enters as an artifact creature. Because state-based actions cause +1/+1 and -1/+1 counters to annihilate each other, Lesser Masticore enters cleanly with zero counters each time, ready to be sacrificed to Megatog all over again.
