How it works

1. Activate Goblin Bombardment by sacrificing Lesser Masticore.
2. When Lesser Masticore dies, its persist ability triggers, returning it from your graveyard to the battlefield with a -1/-1 counter on it.
3. When Lesser Masticore enters, Mm'menon triggers, putting a +1/+1 counter on Lesser Masticore.
4. Resolve the Goblin Bombardment ability.
5. Repeat.

This clever loop transforms Lesser Masticore into an endless ammunition source for Goblin Bombardment by exploiting how +1/+1 and -1/-1 counters interact. When Lesser Masticore dies, its persist ability normally brings it back with a -1/-1 counter, which would shut down future returns—but every time the artifact creature enters the battlefield, Mm'menon, Uthros Exile triggers to place a +1/+1 counter on it. Because state-based actions cause +1/+1 and -1/+1 counters to annihilate each other in pairs, the Masticore arrives cleanly wiped of its penalty counter, allowing it to sacrifice to Goblin Bombardment over and over again to blast away any target.
