How it works

1. Activate Bartolomé del Presidio by sacrificing Mirror Image.
2. When Mirror Image dies, its last ability from Cavalier of Night triggers, returning itself from your graveyard to the battlefield as a copy of Cavalier of Night.
3. When Mirror Image enters the battlefield, its first triggered ability from Cavalier of Night triggers; choose not to sacrifice a creature.
4. Resolve the Bartolomé del Presidio ability from step 1.
5. Repeat.

This clever loop relies on Mirror Image entering the battlefield as a copy of Cavalier of Night, which itself is already sitting in your graveyard to establish the recursion. Once copied, Mirror Image inherits the Cavalier's death trigger, allowing you to sacrifice it to Bartolomé del Presidio and immediately bring it right back from the graveyard as a fresh Cavalier of Night copy. With Bartolomé del Presidio pumping itself with endless +1/+1 counters for every iteration, you generate an unstoppable engine of infinite sacrifices, leaves-the-battlefield triggers, and enters-the-battlefield effects.
