How it works

1. Activate Aethergeode Miner by paying EE, blinking it.
2. Aethergeode Miner enters the battlefield, triggering Aetherstorm Roc and Mirror Image, causing you to get EE.
3. Repeat.

This clever energy loop spins up by having Mirror Image enter the battlefield as a copy of Aetherstorm Roc, turning every blink into a net-positive energy factory. When you activate Aethergeode Miner's ability by spending two energy counters to exile and blink itself, its return triggers both Aetherstorm Roc's entry ability and the cloned Roc's entry ability to replenish your supply. Because the Miner generates energy simply by attacking and refunds its own blink cost through the Rocs' combined triggers, you can repeat this cycle indefinitely to trigger endless enters-the-battlefield and leaves-the-battlefield effects.
