How it works

1. Cast Mirror Image by paying 2, without using , having it enter the battlefield as a copy of Crypt Champion.
2. Mirror Image enters the battlefield, triggering its first and second abilities.
3. Resolve the second Mirror Image trigger, causing you to sacrifice it.
4. Resolve the first Mirror Image trigger, returning Mirror Image from your graveyard to the battlefield as a copy of Crypt Champion.
5. Repeat from step 2.

This clever loop leverages the recursive power of Crypt Champion and Mirror Image to generate an infinite cycle of life and death. Because Mirror Image enters the battlefield as a copy of Crypt Champion, its own "enters the battlefield" trigger sees a valid target with a mana value of 3 or less waiting in the graveyard, ready to pull itself right back into the action. At the same time, the copied Crypt Champion's sacrifice trigger fires off immediately, instantly binning the clone so it can be reanimated all over again. By repeatedly copying the Champion without ever needing to spend the red mana required to keep it alive, you effortlessly churn through endless entry, leave-the-battlefield, death, and sacrifice triggers.
