How it works

1. Cast Mirror Image by paying 0 due to Aluren, choosing to have it enter the battlefield as a copy of Mischievous Pup.
2. When Mirror Image enters the battlefield, it triggers, returning Mischievous Pup from the battlefield to your hand.
3. Cast Mischievous Pup by paying 0 due to Aluren.
4. When Mischievous Pup enters the battlefield, it triggers, returning Mirror Image from the battlefield to your hand.
5. Repeat.

This loop is powered by Aluren, whose static ability allows both Mischievous Pup and Mirror Image to be cast completely for free as though they had flash. When you cast Mirror Image, it enters as a copy of Mischievous Pup, triggering its ability to bounce the original Mischievous Pup back to your hand. You can then use Aluren to recast Mischievous Pup for free, whose own enter-the-battlefield trigger bounces Mirror Image back to your hand so you can start the cycle over again. By endlessly repeating this bounce dance between the two creatures, you generate infinite creature enters-the-battlefield and leaves-the-battlefield triggers alongside an unbounded storm count.
