How it works

  1. Cast Protean Raider by paying 1U manaR mana, choosing to have it enter the battlefield as a copy of Swift Warkite.
  2. When Protean Raider enters the battlefield, it triggers.
  3. Holding priority, activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing Protean Raider, adding CC.
  4. Resolve the Protean Raider trigger, returning Protean Raider from your graveyard to the battlefield as a copy of Swift Warkite.
  5. Repeat from step 2.
