How it works

4. Ashcloud Phoenix's first ability triggers, returning it from your graveyard to the battlefield face-down.
5. When Ashcloud Phoenix enters the battlefield face-down, Aether Flash triggers, dealing 2 damage to it.
6. Ashcloud Phoenix dies as a state-based action due to having less than 0 toughness.
7. Yarus' second ability triggers, returning Ashcloud Phoenix from your graveyard to the battlefield face-down, and then turning it face-up.
8. Aether Flash and Ashcloud Phoenix's second ability trigger.
9. Resolve the Ashcloud Phoenix trigger, dealing 2 damage to each player.
10. Resolve the Aether Flash trigger, dealing 2 damage to Ashcloud Phoenix.
11. Repeat from step 3.
