How it works

1. Cast Bill the Pony by paying .
2. Animar triggers, putting a +1/+1 counter on it.
3. When Bill the Pony enters the battlefield, it and Samwise trigger.
4. Resolve the Samwise trigger, creating a Food artifact token.
5. Resolve the Bill the Pony trigger, creating two Food artifact tokens.
6. Activate Phyrexian Altar by sacrificing Bill the Pony, adding .
7. Activate Samwise by sacrificing three Foods, returning Bill the Pony to your hand from your graveyard.
8. Repeat.
