How it works
- Activate Tortured Existence by paying and discarding an artifact creature card, returning another artifact creature card from your graveyard to your hand.
- Imotekh triggers, creating two 2/2 Necron Warrior artifact creature tokens.
- Activate Carrion Feeder by sacrificing a Necron Warrior.
- When the Necron Warrior dies, Pitiless Plunderer triggers, creating a Treasure artifact token.
- Resolve the Carrion Feeder ability, putting a +1/+1 counter on it.
- Activate the Treasure by tapping and sacrificing it, adding .
- Repeat.
This engine turns a graveyard and a handful of friends into an unstoppable Necron legion, powered entirely by a clever loop of recycling and sacrifice. By using Tortured Existence to swap artifact creatures between your hand and graveyard, you continuously trigger Imotekh the Stormlord's ability to flood the board with 2/2 Necron Warrior tokens. Each time those tokens hit the graveyard via Carrion Feeder's snack bar, Pitiless Plunderer steps in to generate a Treasure token, which you then crack for the black mana needed to keep Tortured Existence running forever.
