How it works

1. Activate Tortured Existence by paying and discarding a creature card, returning another creature card from your graveyard to your hand.
2. Tormod triggers, creating a creature token.
3. Activate Phantom Train by sacrificing the creature token.
4. When the creature token dies, Pitiless Plunderer triggers, creating a Treasure token.
5. Resolve the Phantom Train ability.
6. Activate a Treasure by tapping and sacrificing it, adding .
7. Repeat.

This engine transforms graveyard rotation into a self-sustaining loop by leveraging Tortured Existence to constantly cycle creature cards between your hand and graveyard. Every time a card leaves your graveyard, Tormod, the Desecrator rewards you with a Zombie token to keep the momentum going. You can then feed that freshly made token directly into Phantom Train, whose activation both animates the Vehicle and grows it with a +1/+1 counter. Finally, Pitiless Plunderer watches that sacrifice happen and generates a Treasure token, providing the exact black mana needed to pay for Tortured Existence and repeat the whole process indefinitely.
