How it works

1. Put a +1/+1 counter on Basking Broodscale.
2. Basking Broodscale triggers, creating a 0/1 Eldrazi Spawn creature token that enters with a +1/+1 counter on it due to Arwen.
3. Activate the Eldrazi Spawn by sacrificing it, adding C.
4. When the Eldrazi Spawn dies, Slurrk triggers, putting a +1/+1 counter on each creature you control that has a +1/+1 counter on it.
5. Repeat from step 2.

This clever synergy turns the humble act of adapting Basking Broodscale into a self-sustaining engine of growth and resources. As Basking Broodscale generates +1/+1 counters, its own ability triggers to spawn an Eldrazi Spawn token, which instantly arrives with extra reinforcement thanks to Arwen, Weaver of Hope boosting its toughness. Sacrificing that token for mana causes Slurrk, All-Ingesting to watch the creature die and trigger its death-linked ability, spreading more +1/+1 counters across your board—which in turn resets Basking Broodscale to keep the loop churning indefinitely.
