How it works

1. Activate Goblin Bombardment by sacrificing the persist creature.
2. When the persist creature dies, its persist ability triggers, returning it from your graveyard to the battlefield without a -1/-1 counter on it due to Arwen
3. Resolve the Goblin Bombardment ability.
4. Repeat

This clever loop turns a persist creature's self-resurrection into a lethal engine, all orchestrated by Goblin Bombardment as the ultimate sacrifice outlet and damage dealer. The magic truly happens thanks to Arwen, Weaver of Hope, whose static ability ensures that whenever your creature returns from the graveyard, it enters with enough additional +1/+1 counters to immediately neutralize any -1/-1 counters it would have received. Because those counters are completely offset, the creature can persist indefinitely, letting you endlessly sacrifice it to Goblin Bombardment for infinite damage and death triggers.
