How it works
- Activate Mystic Sanctuary and Sarevok's Tome by tapping them, adding 2.
- Cast Ghostly Flicker either from your hand or from the top of your library by paying 2, blinking Mystic Sanctuary and Sarevok's Tome.
- When Mystic Sanctuary and Sarevok's Tome enters untapped, they trigger.
- Resolve the Mystic Sanctuary trigger, putting Ghostly Flicker from your graveyard onto the top of your library.
- Resolve the Sarevok's Tome trigger, causing you to take the initiative.
- Repeat.
This clever loop relies on Mystic Sanctuary entering the battlefield untapped through Ghostly Flicker's ability to repeatedly recur the spell itself from your graveyard right back to the top of your library. Meanwhile, Sarevok's Tome fuels the mana required to keep casting Ghostly Flicker each iteration—while also seizing the initiative for you—by leveraging its ability to tap for extra colorless mana when you hold the initiative. To make this engine fire from the top of your library without paying mana every turn, One with the Multiverse grants you the vital permission to cast spells from the top of your library for free once each turn (and lets you look ahead to ensure Ghostly Flicker is always ready to go).
