How it works

1. Activate Yenna by paying 2 and tapping it, creating a token copy of Zealous Conscripts.
2. When the Zealous Conscripts token enters, it triggers, untapping Yenna.
3. Activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing the Zealous Conscripts token, adding CC.
4. Repeat.

This elegant looping mechanism relies on Enchanted Evening to weave every permanent on the battlefield into an enchantment, allowing Yenna, Redtooth Regent to target non-legendary copies of any creature you fancy. When you activate Yenna to copy Zealous Conscripts, the newly minted token enters the battlefield and its trigger untaps Yenna to keep the engine running. You then feed that same Zealous Conscripts token into Ashnod's Altar to generate the generic mana needed to pay Yenna's activation cost and repeat the cycle indefinitely.
