How it works

1. Activate Yenna by paying 2 and tapping it, creating a token copy of Pestermite.
2. When the Pestermite token enters, it triggers, untapping Yenna.
3. Activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing the Pestermite token, adding CC.
4. Repeat.

This clever loop transforms ordinary creatures into a self-sustaining engine by utilizing Enchanted Evening, which blankets the battlefield in enchantment status so that Yenna, Redtooth Regent can target any creature as if it were an enchantment. Once Pestermite enters the battlefield as a copied token, its ability untaps Yenna to ready her for the next iteration, while Ashnod's Altar conveniently converts the Pestermite token into the exact amount of colorless mana needed to pay Yenna's activation cost. By endlessly repeating this cycle, you generate an infinite stream of sacrifice and entry triggers to overwhelm your opponents.
