How it works

1. Cast Day of the Dragons by paying 7 life due to Demon of Fate's Design.
2. When Day of the Dragons enters the battlefield, its first ability and Cloudstone Curio trigger.
3. Resolve the Cloudstone Curio trigger, returning nothing to your hand from the battlefield.
4. Resolve the Day of the Dragons trigger, exiling all creatures you control and creating that many 5/5 Dragon creature tokens.
5. When the Dragon(s) enter the battlefield, Cloudstone Curio triggers that many times.
6. Resolve all but one Cloudstone Curio trigger, returning nothing to your hand from the battlefield.
7. Resolve the final Cloudstone Curio trigger, returning Day of the Dragons to your hand from the battlefield.
8. When Day of the Dragons leaves the battlefield, its second ability triggers, causing you to sacrifice all Dragons you control and return all cards exiled with Day of the Dragons to the battlefield.
9. When the creatures that were exiled by Day of the Dragons enter the battlefield, Cloudstone Curio and Impassioned Orator trigger that many times.
10. Resolve all Impassioned Orator triggers, causing you to gain life equal to the number of creatures that entered the battlefield.
11. Resolve all Cloudstone Curio triggers, returning nothing to your hand from the battlefield.
12. Repeat.
13. If you control eight or more nontoken creatures, this combo nets infinite life.

This wondrous loop hinges on the reality-bending properties of Enchanted Evening, which turns every permanent on your battlefield into an enchantment so they seamlessly trigger Cloudstone Curio. Demon of Fate's Design acts as our dark catalyst, letting you bypass Day of the Dragons' massive mana cost by paying 7 life instead. Once Day of the Dragons enters, it exiles your creatures and floods the board with 5/5 Dragons, whose arrival lets Cloudstone Curio bounce Day of the Dragons right back to your hand. As Day of the Dragons leaves, it gives up those Dragons to return your original creatures to the battlefield, setting off Impassioned Orator to continuously replenish the life you paid to the Demon.
