How it works

1. Cast Capture of Jingzhou by paying 3.
2. Jin-Gitaxias triggers, copying Capture of Jingzhou.
3. Holding priority, cast Venser by paying 2.
4. When Venser enters the battlefield, it triggers twice, returning itself and the original Capture of Jingzhou to your hand from the battlefield and stack respectively.
5. Resolve the copy of Capture of Jingzhou, causing you to take an extra turn after this one.
6. Repeat each turn.

This cunning extra-turn loop relies on Yarok, the Desecrated to double up on permanent-entering triggers, turning a simple bounce effect into a devastating engine. By casting Capture of Jingzhou, you trigger Jin-Gitaxias, Progress Tyrant to copy the spell while you flash in Venser, Shaper Savant. Because of Yarok, the Desecrated, Venser's entry triggers twice, allowing you to return both the original Capture of Jingzhou to your hand and the Venser itself back to your hand for re-casting on the next turn. All the while, Jin-Gitaxias, Progress Tyrant's passive ability stands guard against your opponents, locking them out of the game by countering their spells while you take infinite turns.
