How it works

  1. Cast Walk the Aeons by paying 4U manaU mana.
  2. Jin-Gitaxias triggers, copying Walk the Aeons.
  3. Holding priority, cast Venser by paying 2U manaU mana.
  4. When Venser enters the battlefield, it triggers twice, returning itself and the original Walk the Aeons to your hand from the battlefield and stack respectively.
  5. Resolve the copy of Walk the Aeons, causing you to take an extra turn after this one.
  6. Repeat each turn.

This fascinating chain turns a single extra turn spell into an endless timeline by constantly looping your key pieces back to your hand. When you cast Walk the Aeons, Jin-Gitaxias, Progress Tyrant steps in to double your spellcasting efficiency by copying it, while Yarok, the Desecrated doubles up every single entry trigger you generate. This means that when you flash in Venser, Shaper Savant, Yarok causes his entry trigger to fire twice—allowing you to bounce both Venser *and* the original Walk the Aeons right back to your hand so you can cast them again on your next extra turn.
