How it works
Cast Exhume by paying its mana cost
Holding priority, cast Dualcaster Mage by paying its mana cost.
When Dualcaster Mage enters, it triggers, targeting Exhume.
Holding priority, activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing Dualcaster Mage.
Resolve the Dualcaster Mage trigger, copying Exhume
Resolve the Exhume copy, returning Dualcaster Mage from your graveyard to the battlefield.
Repeat from step 3.
This ingenious loop spins up by casting Exhume to set the stage, then interrupting it with Dualcaster Mage so its entry trigger targets the very spell that's still on the stack. By sacrificing Dualcaster Mage to Ashnod's Altar in response, you generate a pair of colorless mana to help fund the engine while sending the Mage straight to the graveyard—right where Exhume's resolving copy can immediately fish it back out to repeat the process. Because Exhume forces *each* player to return a creature, this continuous cycle not only yields an infinite stream of sacrifices and colorless mana, but also forces your opponents to empty their entire graveyards onto the battlefield alongside your looping wizard.
