How it works

1. Cast Exhume by paying its mana cost
2. Holding priority, cast Dualcaster Mage by paying its mana cost.
3. When Dualcaster Mage enters, it triggers, targeting Exhume.
4. Holding priority, activate Phyrexian Altar by sacrificing Dualcaster Mage.
5. Resolve the Dualcaster Mage trigger, copying Exhume
6. Resolve the Exhume copy, returning Dualcaster Mage from your graveyard to the battlefield.
7. Repeat from step 3.

This loop ignites when you cast Exhume, prompting both you and your opponents to return a creature, while laying the groundwork for your graveyard to fuel the rest of the turn. As Dualcaster Mage flashes onto the stack, its enters-the-battlefield ability targets that original sorcery, copying it to continuously fish Dualcaster Mage back out of the graveyard whenever it hits the dirt. Phyrexian Altar is the engine that keeps this cycle spinning indefinitely, letting you feed your resurrected wizard to its altar sacrifice ability to generate an endless supply of colored mana.
