How it works
Cast Ashling's Command by paying 3, choosing its fourth mode targeting yourself and then any of the other three modes.
Holding priority, cast Dualcaster Mage by paying its mana cost.
When Dualcaster Mage enters, it and Deadeye Navigator's soulbond ability trgger.
Resolve the Deadeye Navigator trigger, pairing it and Dualcaster Mage.
Resolve the Dualcaster Mage trigger, copying Ashling's Command.
Resolve the copy of Ashling's Command, causing you to create two Treasure tokens.
Activate the Treasures by tapping and sacrificing them, adding 1.
Activate Dualcaster Mage by paying 1, blinking it.
Repeat from step 3.
This clever loop transforms Ashling's Command into a self-sustaining engine by utilizing Dualcaster Mage to continuously copy the spell, generating the exact mana needed to keep going through its Treasure-making mode. Deadeye Navigator provides the crucial blinking mechanism via soulbond, allowing you to reset Dualcaster Mage over and over without ever running out of fuel. Because Ashling's Command is so versatile, the leftover mode selections let you seamlessly layer in infinite card draw, damage, or token copies of your choice while the loop executes.
