How it works

1. Cast Demonic Gifts by paying its mana cost.
2. Holding priority, cast Dualcaster Mage by paying its mana cost.
3. When Dualcaster Mage enters, it triggers, copying Demonic Gifts, with the copy targeting Dualcaster Mage.
4. Resolve the copy of Demonic Gifts.
5. Holding priority, activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing Dualcaster Mage.
6. When Dualcaster Mage dies, it triggers, returning it from your graveyard to the battlefield.
7. Repeat from step 3.

This ingenious loop exploits Dualcaster Mage's clever ability to copy spells the moment it enters the battlefield. By having Dualcaster Mage target Demonic Gifts, you set up a recursive safety net that lets the mage constantly resurrect itself. Once Ashnod's Altar enters the picture, you gain the ability to feed that looping creature into a mana-producing sacrifice outlet, letting you break the laws of physics to generate infinite colorless mana alongside endless death, entrance, and sacrifice triggers.
