How it works

1. Cast Persist by paying its mana cost, targeting any applicable target.
2. Holding priority, cast Dualcaster Mage by paying its mana cost.
3. When Dualcaster Mage enters, it triggers, targeting Persist.
4. Holding priority, activate Bloodflow Connoisseur by sacrificing Dualcaster Mage.
5. Resolve the Dualcaster Mage trigger, copying Persist, with the copy targeting Dualcaster Mage
6. Resolve the Persist copy, returning Dualcaster Mage from your graveyard to the battlefield.
7. Repeat from step 3.

This clever loop relies on the brilliant recursive engine of **Persist** to pull **Dualcaster Mage** straight back from the grave whenever it hits the battlefield. By dropping **Bloodflow Connoisseur** onto the board, you gain the necessary sacrifice outlet to instantly send Dualcaster Mage back to the graveyard, setting up its enter-the-battlefield trigger to copy the original spell over and over. Because Persist adds a -1/-1 counter while Bloodflow Connoisseur rewards each sacrifice with a +1/+1 counter, the counters conveniently cancel each other out on the Connoisseur while allowing the Mage to keep dying and returning endlessly.
