How it works

  1. Cast Songs of the Damned by paying B mana.
  2. Holding priority, activate Emiel by paying 3, blinking Dualcaster Mage.
  3. When Dualcaster Mage enters the battlefield, it triggers, copying Songs of the Damned.
  4. Resolve the copy of Songs of the Damned, adding at least B manaB manaB mana.
  5. Repeat from step 2.
  6. If there are at least four creature cards in your graveyard, this combo nets infintie black mana.

This clever loop turns a graveyard full of creatures into an endless fountain of black mana by leveraging Dualcaster Mage's reflexive trigger to constantly duplicate spellcasting. With Songs of the Damned providing the initial burst of mana based on your graveyard's contents, you can repeatedly use Emiel the Blessed and her blink ability to reset the Mage and keep copying the spell. As long as you have at least four creature cards fueling the Songs, the mana generated easily covers Emiel's activation cost, leaving you with an unstoppable cycle of enter-the-battlefield triggers and infinite black mana.
