How it works

1. Cast Unearth by paying , targeting any applicable target.
2. Holding priority, cast Dualcaster Mage by paying 1.
3. When Dualcaster Mage enters, it triggers, targeting Unearth.
4. Holding priority, activate Viscera Seer by sacrificing Dualcaster Mage.
5. Resolve the Dualcaster Mage trigger, copying Unearth, with the copy targeting Dualcaster Mage.
6. Resolve the Unearth copy, returning Dualcaster Mage from your graveyard to the battlefield.
7. Repeat from step 3.

This clever loop turns a simple graveyard recursion spell into an endlessly repeating cycle by exploiting Dualcaster Mage's entry trigger to copy the very spell that brought it back. As Dualcaster Mage enters and targets the original Unearth, Viscera Seer sits safely on the battlefield, ready to instantly sacrifice the Mage before the copy resolves and resets the loop. Because Unearth costs only a single black mana and costs less than three mana to cast originally, this recursive engine spins out of control to generate infinite sacrifices, enters-the-battlefield triggers, and endless scry depth.
