How it works

1. Cast Ascend from Avernus by paying 3
2. Holding priority, cast Dualcaster Mage by paying its mana cost.
3. When Dualcaster Mage enters, it triggers, targeting Ascend from Avernus.
4. Holding priority, activate Carrion Feeder by sacrificing Dualcaster Mage.
5. Resolve the Dualcaster Mage trigger, copying Ascend from Avernus
6. Resolve the Ascend from Avernus copy, returning Dualcaster Mage from your graveyard to the battlefield.
7. Repeat from step 3.

This clever loop begins by casting Ascend from Avernus, then interrupting it with Dualcaster Mage so its entry trigger copies the original spell. While those triggers sit on the stack, you use Carrion Feeder to sacrifice the Mage, conveniently sending it straight to the graveyard just in time for the copied Ascend from Avernus to pull it right back onto the battlefield. Because the newly returned Dualcaster Mage triggers all over again to copy the original spell—which remains safely on the stack waiting to be copied indefinitely—you create an unstoppable engine of endless returns, sacrifices, and growth.
