How it works

1. Cast Entering by paying its mana cost, targeting any applicable target.
2. Holding priority, cast Dualcaster Mage by paying its mana cost.
3. When Dualcaster Mage enters, it triggers, targeting Entering.
4. Holding priority, activate Carrion Feeder by sacrificing Dualcaster Mage.
5. Resolve the Dualcaster Mage trigger, copying Entering, with the copy targeting Dualcaster Mage
6. Resolve the Entering copy, returning Dualcaster Mage from your graveyard to the battlefield.
7. Repeat from step 3.

This clever loop hinges on Dualcaster Mage’s ability to copy spells the moment it enters the battlefield. By targeting Entering—the right half of Breaking // Entering—with that entry trigger, you immediately generate a copy that brings Dualcaster Mage right back out of the graveyard. To keep the engine running, Carrion Feeder provides the necessary sacrifice outlet to send Dualcaster Mage back to the yard in response, while growing itself into a massive threat with endless +1/+1 counters.
