How it works

1. Cast Return to Action by paying its mana cost.
2. Holding priority, cast Dualcaster Mage by paying its mana cost.
3. When Dualcaster Mage enters, it triggers, copying Return to Action, with the copy targeting Dualcaster Mage.
4. Resolve the copy of Return to Action.
5. Holding priority, activate Carrion Feeder by sacrificing Dualcaster Mage.
6. When Dualcaster Mage dies, it triggers, returning it from your graveyard to the battlefield.
7. Repeat from step 3.
8. Resolve all Carrion Feeder abilities from step 5.

This loop turns a simple combat trick into an engine of endless rebirth by stacking the right triggers together. When you cast Return to Action and layer Dualcaster Mage over it with flash, the Mage's entrance triggers to copy the spell right back onto itself, establishing a self-sustaining loop. Whenever the cycle threatens to end, Carrion Feeder steps in as a willing executioner, sacrificing the mage to pump itself with +1/+1 counters while the delayed-trigger resurrection from Return to Action immediately brings Dualcaster Mage right back to the battlefield to copy the spell anew.
