How it works

1. Cast Return to Action by paying its mana cost.
2. Holding priority, cast Dualcaster Mage by paying its mana cost.
3. When Dualcaster Mage enters, it triggers, copying Return to Action, with the copy targeting Dualcaster Mage.
4. Resolve the copy of Return to Action.
5. Holding priority, activate Bloodflow Connoisseur by sacrificing Dualcaster Mage.
6. When Dualcaster Mage dies, it triggers, returning it from your graveyard to the battlefield.
7. Repeat from step 3.
8. Resolve all Bloodflow Connoisseur abilities from step 5.

This clever loop transforms a simple recursion spell into an endless engine of life and growth. You start by casting Return to Action to prep your mage, then drop Dualcaster Mage to intercept it on the stack and copy the spell right back onto itself. Once that protective effect is locked in, Bloodflow Connoisseur steps in as the sacrifice outlet, cashing in the mage to trigger its return to the battlefield and sending it right back to the stack to copy the spell anew. With every iteration, your Bloodflow Connoisseur grows ever larger while you rake in infinite triggers of every shape and size.
