How it works

1. Cast Unearth by paying its mana cost, targeting any applicable target.
2. Holding priority, cast Dualcaster Mage by paying its mana cost.
3. When Dualcaster Mage enters, it triggers, targeting Unearth.
4. Holding priority, activate Spawning Pit by sacrificing Dualcaster Mage.
5. Resolve the Dualcaster Mage trigger, copying Unearth, with the copy targeting Dualcaster Mage
6. Resolve the Unearth copy, returning Dualcaster Mage from your graveyard to the battlefield.
7. Repeat from step 3.

This clever loop harnesses Spawning Pit as both a convenient sacrifice outlet and a catalyst for recycling your resources, all fueled by the recursive magic of Unearth. By casting Unearth and responding with Dualcaster Mage, the Mage's entry trigger copies the original sorcery to target the very wizard who cast it. Once Spawning Pit consumes Dualcaster Mage to feed its own charge counters, the resolving Unearth copy brings the Mage right back from the graveyard to restart the whole sequence.
