How it works

1. Cast Unearth by paying its mana cost, targeting any applicable target.
2. Holding priority, cast Dualcaster Mage by paying its mana cost.
3. When Dualcaster Mage enters, it triggers, targeting Unearth.
4. Holding priority, activate Hammerhead by sacrificing Dualcaster Mage.
5. Resolve the Dualcaster Mage trigger, copying Unearth, with the copy targeting Dualcaster Mage
6. Resolve the Unearth copy, returning Dualcaster Mage from your graveyard to the battlefield.
7. Repeat from step 3.

This clever loop puts Hammerhead, Maggia Boss at the center of a self-sustaining cycle of life and death, turning its sacrifice outlet into an engine for endless triggers. By casting Unearth to retrieve a small creature, you set the stage to drop Dualcaster Mage, whose entry trigger immediately copies the very spell that brought it back. Before that copy resolves, you feed the Mage to Hammerhead, Maggia Boss to feed its hunger with a +1/+1 counter, clearing the path for the copied Unearth to return Dualcaster Mage right back to the battlefield to do it all over again.
