How it works

1. Cast Vincent's Limit Break by paying its mana cost.
2. Holding priority, cast Dualcaster Mage by paying its mana cost.
3. When Dualcaster Mage enters, it triggers, copying Vincent's Limit Break, with the copy targeting Dualcaster Mage.
4. Resolve the copy of Vincent's Limit Break.
5. Holding priority, activate Phyrexian Altar by sacrificing Dualcaster Mage.
6. When Dualcaster Mage dies, it triggers, returning it from your graveyard to the battlefield.
7. Repeat from step 3.

This brilliant loop turns a temporary resurrection spell into a self-sustaining engine by cleverly targeting the very mage casting it. When you cast Vincent's Limit Break and follow it with Dualcaster Mage, the Mage's enters-the-battlefield ability copies the Limit Break to grant itself a delayed trigger returning it upon death. You then feed that same Dualcaster Mage to Phyrexian Altar to generate mana and trigger its return to the battlefield, which instantly restarts the cycle. Because the Altar provides the exact mana color needed to repeat the process while constantly rebuying the Mage, you generate an infinite loop of sacrifices, magecraft triggers, and colored mana.
