How it works
Cast Undying Malice by paying its mana cost.
Holding priority, cast Dualcaster Mage by paying its mana cost.
When Dualcaster Mage enters, it triggers, copying Undying Malice, with the copy targeting Dualcaster Mage.
Resolve the copy of Undying Malice.
Holding priority, activate Thermopod by sacrificing Dualcaster Mage.
When Dualcaster Mage dies, it triggers, returning it from your graveyard to the battlefield.
Repeat from step 3.
This clever loop centers around Dualcaster Mage, which enters the battlefield to copy the Undying Malice currently on the stack, targeting the Mage itself to ensure it returns whenever it hits the graveyard. Once this self-sustaining resurrection cycle is established, Thermopod provides the crucial sacrifice outlet that allows you to repeatedly bin Dualcaster Mage for red mana. Because Undying Malice brings the Mage back with a +1/+1 counter every time it dies, the process can be infinitely repeated to generate boundless red mana alongside an endless stream of enter-the-battlefield, death, and sacrifice triggers.
