How it works
Cast Prison Break either from your hand by paying 4 or from your graveyard for its mayhem cost by paying 3, targeting any applicable target.
Holding priority, cast Dualcaster Mage by paying its mana cost.
When Dualcaster Mage enters, it triggers, targeting Prison Break.
Holding priority, activate Thermopod by sacrificing Dualcaster Mage.
Resolve the Dualcaster Mage trigger, copying Prison Break, with the copy targeting Dualcaster Mage
Resolve the Prison Break copy, returning Dualcaster Mage from your graveyard to the battlefield.
Repeat from step 3.
This loop turns an ordinary reanimation spell into an infinite engine by leveraging Dualcaster Mage's clever ability to copy the very spell that brought it back. Whenever Dualcaster Mage enters the battlefield, its triggered ability targets the original Prison Break, creating a copy that loops the Mage right back into play from your graveyard. Meanwhile, Thermopod provides the crucial sacrifice outlet to feed this recursion while simultaneously converting your endless cycles into a surplus of red mana.
