How it works

1. Cast Abnormal Endurance by paying its mana cost.
2. Holding priority, cast Dualcaster Mage by paying its mana cost.
3. When Dualcaster Mage enters, it triggers, copying Abnormal Endurance, with the copy targeting Dualcaster Mage.
4. Resolve the copy of Abnormal Endurance.
5. Holding priority, activate Altar of Dementia by sacrificing Dualcaster Mage.
6. When Dualcaster Mage dies, it triggers, returning it from your graveyard to the battlefield.
7. Repeat from step 3.
8. Resolve all Altar of Dementia abilities from step 5.

This vicious loop relies on Dualcaster Mage and Abnormal Endurance creating an endless cycle of self-preservation, where every time the Mage hits the battlefield, its enter-the-battlefield ability copies the very spell that keeps resurrecting it. Meanwhile, Altar of Dementia sits ready to convert this immortal wizard into an infinite sacrifice engine, using the Mage's own recurring entries and exits to mill out your opponents completely. Because Abnormal Endurance grants both a power boost and a return-to-battlefield trigger upon death, every single loop seamlessly feeds the Altar without ever running out of fuel.
