Dualcaster Mage

How it works

1. Cast Entering by paying its mana cost, targeting any applicable target.
2. Holding priority, cast Dualcaster Mage by paying its mana cost.
3. When Dualcaster Mage enters, it triggers, targeting Entering.
4. Holding priority, activate Shilgengar by sacrificing Dualcaster Mage.
5. Resolve the Dualcaster Mage trigger, copying Entering, with the copy targeting Dualcaster Mage
6. Resolve the Entering copy, returning Dualcaster Mage from your graveyard to the battlefield.
7. Repeat from step 3.

This brilliant loop centers on casting Entering to cheat a creature from your graveyard straight to the battlefield, which we ignite by bringing back Dualcaster Mage to continuously copy the original spell. The real engine that sustains this recursive nightmare, however, is Shilgengar, Sire of Famine, whose ability lets you sacrifice your entering Dualcaster Mage to generate a Blood token right when you need it. By looping these interactions, you endlessly retrigger the Entering half of Breaking // Entering to mill your library and resurrect your creatures while feeding Shilgengar's appetite for sacrifices.
