How it works

  1. Cast Vincent's Limit Break by paying its mana cost.
  2. Holding priority, cast Dualcaster Mage by paying its mana cost.
  3. When Dualcaster Mage enters, it triggers, copying Vincent's Limit Break, with the copy targeting Dualcaster Mage.
  4. Resolve the copy of Vincent's Limit Break.
  5. Holding priority, activate Shilgengar by sacrificing Dualcaster Mage.
  6. When Dualcaster Mage dies, it triggers, returning it from your graveyard to the battlefield.
  7. Repeat from step 3.
  8. Resolve all Shilgengar abilities from step 5.

This intricate loop hinges on an infinite recursion of entering and dying triggers, fueled by the clever targeting of Vincent's Limit Break. By casting Vincent's Limit Break and responding with Dualcaster Mage, the Mage's entry trigger copies the spell to target itself, granting it the vital "return to the battlefield when it dies" clause. From there, you can use Shilgengar, Sire of Famine to sacrifice Dualcaster Mage for Blood tokens; thanks to the granted effect, the Mage immediately returns to the battlefield to copy the spell all over again. You can endlessly repeat this loop to farm infinite Blood tokens and triggers, and eventually use Shilgengar's massive six-Blood-token activation to resurrect your entire graveyard with finality counters.
