How it works

1. Cast Prison Break either from your hand by paying 4 or from your graveyard for its mayhem cost by paying 3, targeting any applicable target.
2. Holding priority, cast Dualcaster Mage by paying its mana cost.
3. When Dualcaster Mage enters, it triggers, targeting Prison Break.
4. Holding priority, activate Umbral Collar Zealot by sacrificing Dualcaster Mage.
5. Resolve the Dualcaster Mage trigger, copying Prison Break, with the copy targeting Dualcaster Mage
6. Resolve the Prison Break copy, returning Dualcaster Mage from your graveyard to the battlefield.
7. Repeat from step 3.

This elegant loop turns a simple recursion spell into an endless engine by putting Dualcaster Mage at the center of the action. When you cast Prison Break, you respond by bringing in Dualcaster Mage, whose triggered ability targets the original sorcery to copy it. Before that copy resolves, you leverage Umbral Collar Zealot to sacrifice Dualcaster Mage, sending it safely to the graveyard so the newly resolving copy can pull it right back to the battlefield with a fresh +1/+1 counter. Repeating this cycle feeds the Zealot's sacrifice outlet to endlessly surveil your library while generating infinite death triggers and enters-the-battlefield value.
