Infinite creature ETBInfinite creature tokensInfinite magecraft triggersInfinite copies of nontoken creatures you control

How it works

  1. Cast Multiversal Incursion by paying its mana cost, targeting a creature you control.
  2. Holding priority, cast Dualcaster Mage by paying 1R manaR mana.
  3. When Dualcaster Mage enters the battlefield, it triggers, copying Multiversal Incursion, targeting Dualcaster Mage.
  4. Resolve the copy of Multiversal Incursion, creating a token copy of Dualcaster Mage.
  5. Repeat from step 3.

This clever loop transforms a single spell into an endless army by turning Dualcaster Mage into its own recursion engine. When you cast Multiversal Incursion, you stack the flash of Dualcaster Mage right on top of it, dropping the wizard onto the battlefield just in time to catch the original spell's trigger. Its entry ability immediately targets Multiversal Incursion itself, resolving to spit out a brand-new token copy of Dualcaster Mage that repeats the entire process. Because the incursion's own effect creates a token copy of each nontoken creature you control, every iteration of this loop also multiplies your entire board state alongside your infinite mages.
