How it works

1. Cast Undying Malice by paying its mana cost.
2. Holding priority, cast Dualcaster Mage by paying its mana cost.
3. When Dualcaster Mage enters, it triggers, copying Undying Malice, with the copy targeting Dualcaster Mage.
4. Resolve the copy of Undying Malice.
5. Holding priority, activate Woe Strider by sacrificing Dualcaster Mage.
6. When Dualcaster Mage dies, it triggers, returning it from your graveyard to the battlefield.
7. Repeat from step 3.
8. Resolve all Woe Strider abilities from step 5.

This clever loop uses Dualcaster Mage as both the instigator and the recurring target of Undying Malice, generating endless enters-the-battlefield and death triggers whenever you want them. By casting Undying Malice and holding priority to drop Dualcaster Mage into the mix, you ensure its enters-the-battlefield trigger copies the spell right back onto the Mage itself. Woe Strider acts as your reliable sacrificial altar, letting you feed the Mage to its sacrifice ability to trigger the Undying Malice revival over and over while filtering your draws with infinite scry 1s.
