How it works
- Cast Machine God's Effigy by paying 4. Choose to have it enter the battlefield as a copy of Technomancer.
- When Machine God's Effigy enters, it triggers. Holding priority, activate Machine God's Effigy by tapping it, adding .
- Activate Extruder by sacrificing Machine God's Effigy.
- Resolve the Machine God's Effigy trigger, causing you to mill three cards and return Machine God's Effigy from your graveyard to the battlefield as a copy of Technomancer.
- Repeat from step 2.
This ingenious loop centers around an unconventional clone: by having Machine God's Effigy enter the battlefield as a copy of Technomancer, you trigger the original creature's ability while gaining the tap ability to generate blue mana. Before that entry trigger resolves, Extruder steps in to feed on your artifacts, sacrificing the cloned Effigy to fuel its sacrifice-and-counter engine. This sends the Effigy straight to the graveyard, where the resolving Technomancer trigger can immediately pull it right back onto the battlefield as a fresh copy of Technomancer.
